Friday night was spent playing card games and Jeff taught the older kids how to play blackjack and poker! LOL! The younger kids played together and watched movies.
Saturday was a day for us adults!! Sisters and Bro-in-laws! Janette, Sherry, Terry, and Jeff! We went golfing at our Carolina Lakes course. We did the 9 holes. Well Sherry mostly watched although Jeff had me try to hit a couple of times! My interest in the "sport" stops when it comes to the cost of it! But I must admit it was fun!!
When we came home from Golf (Terry won!) we got the kids ready to go to the marina to play some football and volleyball. It was cold! Everyone had a great time! Sherry and Bekah came home early - Sherry was still frezzing from playing golf and she IS NOT USED to being COLD! Gotta wear a jacket now! LOL! The kids had fun though!
Saturday Night continued for the adults. We went out to dinner and a movie together. We had a great time! The bro-in-laws exchanged notes on being married to the Berntson Girls! Great! LOL! They both were able to confirm some of our similarties and things that frustrate them about us! It seemed like they enjoyed eachother's company! We ate at The Buffalo Wings restaurant and then went to see Twilight! Great movie but too much of a Teen chick flick for the guys to understand. 4 Christmas's would have been a better choice! But either way we had a good time!
Janette and family took off for home Sunday mid morning after eating breakfast...We were going to take a couple of the kids to go ride horses but it rained! So we said our goodbyes and took the day to recover and get ready for school tomorrow.
